What Does An OT Do?
Works closely with the family to determine concerns and goals for therapy
Helps the child become independent in daily activities
Focuses on fine motor skills, visual motor skills and participation in self-care skills (self-feeding, dressing, brushing teeth, toileting, bathing)
Works on Infant development (tummy time, rolling, crawling, walking)
Uses sensory integration therapy as needed
Works on social-emotional development
Can perform feeding therapy for feeding disorders and/or picky eating
